The Cat® AD30 Underground Mining Truck is a rugged, mid-sized articulated hauler designed specifically for underground hard-rock mining. Built to operate in confined spaces (typically 4×4 m tunnels), it pairs the powerful Cat® C15 engine with a durable four-speed planetary power-shift transmission to deliver high performance and fast cycle times.
With a 30 000 kg (66 139 lb) nominal payload and a gross machine mass of 60 000 kg (132 300 lb), the AD30 offers cost-effective hauling in smaller mining operations. It features a variety of body configurations – ranging from 14.8 to 22.9 yd3 (11.3 to 17.5 m3) and is equipped with full-floating axles, oil-cooled disc brakes, and advanced electronics like the VIMS monitoring system. Designed with serviceability and operator comfort in mind, the AD30 offers easy-access service points, a ROPS/FOPS-certified cab, climate control, and ergonomic controls to enhance productivity and uptime
